The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is established under Section 3 of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act No. 22 of 2011, pursuant to article (79) of the Constitution of Kenya. The Mandate of the Commission is to combat and prevent corruption through law enforcement, preventive measures, education and promotion of standards and best practices of Integrity, Ethics and Anti-Corruption. The Commission invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions;-

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER III EACC “8” (1 Post) (REF EACC/FA/6)
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager through Senior Human Resources Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating the HR data base.
  • Implementing staff Welfare programs/activities.
  • Assisting in staff establishment control.
  • Assisting in the implementation of staff training programs
  • Any other duties assigned by the Human Resources Manager

Qualifications, Experience and Key competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management,
  • Sociology, Anthropology, Business Management, Business
  • Administration or related discipline from a recognized university
  • Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution
  • Current membership with Institute of Human Resource Management
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Human Resource Management
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Directorate of Investigations and Asset Tracing (IAT)

Terms and Requirements For Employment

  • Employment will initially be on contract terms, for a period of four (4) years renewable upon satisfactory performance
  • Successful candidates may be required and should be willing to work in any part of the country
  • Competitive/attractive remuneration packages will be offered
  • Applicants must be of outstanding honesty and integrity, and should be willing to be subjected to an integrity vetting process
  • Applicants must be computer-literate to be able to work in a highly computerized environment

    1. Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
    2. Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    3. Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
    4. Director of Public Prosecutions
    5. Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    6. Registration and good standing in relevant Professional Bodies

  • All short listed applicants shall be subjected to a security clearance by the National Security Intelligence Service.
  • Interested candidates who meet the set criteria should submit applications together with their updated curriculum vitae, copies of certificates and testimonials including details of day time contacts, current and expected remuneration, notice period required to take up appointment, names and contacts of three (3) referees who must be familiar with the candidate’s previous work experience.
