We manage about USD2.oBillion of capital assets for a diverse range of clients across several sectors in East Africa. We are looking to fill the position of a Regional Head of Business Development, based in Nairobi as below;
REGIONAL HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Reports To: East Africa Regional Director
Department/Unit: Business Development
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Responsible for Managing Institutional and retail Relationships within the East African region.
- Responsible for generating new business by designing and implementing suitable business acquisition strategies and being responsible for the overall management of client relationships.
- Responsible for driving the business development strategy for the organization across the East African region
- Responsible for generating new business by designing and implementing suitable business acquisition and retention strategies and being responsible for the overall management of client relationships.
- Manage and respond to queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately.
- Maintaining a supportive working relationship with the business units.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Meeting business growth targets.
- Deliver presentations to Corporate clients and represent the business at conferences, trade shows and similar events.
- Continuous review of products to meet changing market needs.
- Preparation and presentation of management reports on business growth, trends and volumes.
- Develop direct institutional and retail business growth and retention plans for the STANLIB business.
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Personal Competencies
Skills
- Relevant business/financial qualification. A masters degree will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of financial markets within the East African region
- Knowledge of financial instruments
- Knowledge of investment management industry
- A strong knowledge of product review and development.
- A strong technical knowledge of financial services.
Experience
- At least 5 years working experience in the financial services industry
- Experienced in upholding the highest levels of service.
