IDEAL Public Health and Development Consultancy (IPHDC) is an international consultancy firm that seeks to empower development actors to deliver desired results in their work. We are committed to building the capacities of individuals and organizations through the provision of highly professional consultancy services and tailor-made trainings. Consultancy assignments are undertaken by a team of experienced professionals including public health researchers, community development experts, institutional development experts and a core group of IPHDC staff who provide technical and administrative support. The demand for our services has significantly increased in the recent past. To match up with this demand, we are seeking for a dedicated, motivated, efficient, team player and qualified Training Coordinator to manage the administrative and logistical issues relating to the trainings.


  • Communicate and liaise with various partners and stakeholders to ensure that training activities are implemented as planned;
  • Communicate with the participants to ensure they are aware of the accommodation and other logistical arrangements;
  • Create innovative ways to communicate and increase demand for our services among various stakeholders;
  • Provide administrative support and assistance in admission, orientation and certification of trainees;
  • Prepare invoices and receipts for participants and ensure accountability of the same;
  • Organize training venues and other logistics necessary for facilitation of the courses;
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date training records, files and documents;
  • Maintain a database of PowerPoint presentations, papers, photos and other training materials used by participants and facilitators;
  • Read and follow up on all incoming and outgoing correspondence as appropriate, and reply to routine correspondences;
  • Prepare, plan and manage the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion;
  • Prepare and send out training invitations and programmes to the participants and facilitators in a timely manner;
  • Establish and maintain a database of the trainees and facilitators;
  • Maintain the training calendar and deliver on planned activities.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline preferably Public Relation, Communication, Business Management and Administration;
  • Proven experience of working with a development-oriented organization;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience in successfully organizing events and capacity build activities;
  • Good interpersonal relationship.
